Site updated, now with Mollom
So I spent tonight updating my Drupal installation for the site.
I learned, again, how to:
1. Back up my Mysql database using mysqldump. I could just do this using my DreamHost phpMyAdmin console, but I like to know how to do things command line.
2. Write a Unix Bourne shell script. Including how to check whether or not the caller supplied a command line argument.
3. Write a shell script that automatically backs up my MySQL database for stricklyjottings.
4. Approve pending user accounts for this site :-p. That might help getting some traffic here huh? Sorry you three that have been waiting for approval for like, 2 months heh.
I also installed the Mollom Drupal module. It enables spam filtering for all forms on the web site using both image and audio captcha. It's a free web service and it's dead simple to use.
This let me open up commenting on the site up to anonymous users. So for all you people just dieing to comment on my lame blog posts without signing up for an account, you're in luck!
